but i watch c-span 2
cowboys, racists
and one confused jew
just for the days
when i casually tune in
and spit out my protein bar
with a "where's this guy been?"
but those days don't come often
as hookers moan in hotel rooms
and excel plots of rising taxes
prove our inevitable doom
and i feel i know the meaning
of the words each mouth will speak
but still i feel they're worth believing
if the choice is between dead or weak |
